About the Role

The Trust and Safety team at Prime Video is committed to creating a secure environment for viewers and creators globally. This team addresses online content concerns, navigates complex legal frameworks, and enforces policies to enhance the Prime Video experience.

As a Group Manager, you will lead a team of Team Managers and Senior Associates, collaborating with various departments such as policy, program, engineering, and legal to ensure compliance and prevent inappropriate content from being displayed on the platform.

Your team will analyze abuse trends and quality metrics, developing effective workflows and processes to uphold our community standards. You will oversee the evaluation of content appropriateness, taking into account cultural and political sensitivities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Team Managers and Trust & Safety Senior Associates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and prevent the display of inappropriate content.
  • Oversee audits of human and machine learning review decisions regarding content appropriateness.
  • Utilize clear verbal and written communication to articulate issues and resolutions to catalog associates.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing teams and associates.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in organization-wide initiatives with a global business impact.
  • Experience managing large teams.
  • Background in Trust & Safety, content moderation, data labeling, or compliance functions.
  • Proficiency in additional languages such as French, German, Italian, or Dutch.
  • Experience in data analysis.
  • Experience working with international teams.
  • Ability to identify abuse trends or engage with policy issues related to freedom of expression and online content.
