About this role

The Engelhardt Softwareentwicklung Product team is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our customer-facing software team, manage our growing engineering team, and scale our codebase from thousands to millions of users. You will build a high-performing team, oversee project delivery, define technical requirements, and deliver features that enhance our cloud offerings for IT partners serving small and medium businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Mentor: Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Provide guidance and support to help engineers reach their full potential.

• Scale Our Codebase: Help the team set and adopt best practices (continuous improvement, test-driven development, design patterns) and emerging technologies.

• Manage Development Lifecycle: Oversee the entire software development process, from requirement gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Define Vision and Roadmap: Work with the product team and stakeholders to define the technical roadmap, aligning it with business goals.

• Communicate Effectively: Clearly convey technical decisions and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.
