About the Head of Data Position

Asociacionbigdata is seeking a seasoned data professional to lead our data team and drive business growth through data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing, analyzing, and effectively applying data to drive business success. They will be responsible for leading the Data department, designing and maintaining data architecture, and collaborating with multiple teams across the company to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data strategies to drive business growth and success.
  • Lead the Data department and manage a team of data professionals.
  • Design and maintain data architecture to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Contribute to data documentation efforts to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of data processes and systems.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau/Looker Studio).
  • Proficiency in BigQuery and data modeling tools (DBT/Airflow).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in e-commerce or marketplace.
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer brands with subscription revenue models is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on product development.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
