About the Role

PUMA is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Assistant Store Manager to lead our team and drive sales growth. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for managing store operations, developing and executing sales strategies, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and a clean, organized store environment.
  2. Sales Performance: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
  3. Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and feedback to ensure individual and team success.
  4. Customer Experience: Foster a positive and inclusive customer experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is exceptional and memorable.
  5. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that the store is stocked with the right products at the right time.
Requirements
  1. Leadership Experience: 2-4 years of management experience in a customer-focused retail environment, preferably in apparel or footwear.
  2. Sales Acumen: A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing payroll and expenses.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
  4. Operational Excellence: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a knack for managing complex tasks.
