About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Engineer to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). As a key member of our Computer Sciences Department, you will be responsible for characterizing the resilience and energy efficiency of FPGAs and developing mechanisms to increase energy efficiency and resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Characterize FPGA resilience and energy efficiency
  • Develop mechanisms at architecture and runtime levels to increase FPGA resilience and energy efficiency
  • Write high-quality technical reports and papers
Requirements
  • Bachelor/Master of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • 24 or more months experience in a similar position
  • In-depth knowledge of FPGAs
  • Previous experience working with energy-efficiency and resilience
  • Experience with task-based programming models such as OmpSs a plus
