Job Summary

Fagron GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Support Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run and review accounts receivable aging reports regularly to identify and address outstanding accounts.
  • Effectively communicate with wholesalers, vendors, internal and external customers to establish and cultivate relationships.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our ERP system.
  • Process and reconcile customer payments, including check batches, credit card transactions, and electronic transfers.
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by obtaining and reviewing information from sales, customer service departments, and customers.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements and reports detailing paid and unpaid invoices and other accounts receivable activity.
  • Prepare, verify, and process invoices for sales or services rendered as needed.
  • Protect the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality and ensuring accurate and complete customer information.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • 5 years of accounts receivable experience.
  • Technically skilled to operate in multiple ERP and various systems.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Analytical skills, in-depth organization, and decision-making.
  • Flexibility to assist any of the companies supported by the Shared Services team.
  • A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
  • Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
