Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate the development of power electronics projects, managing the activities of cross-functional teams, including HW, SW, ECU Design, and HW/SW Integration Test.
  • Team Management: Manage the activities of the cross-functional team, setting clear goals, objectives, and delivery targets.
  • Release Planning: Prepare and follow up on the electronics development release plan and timing within product/customer APQP milestones.
  • Cost Management: Follow up on costs and manage internal development prototypes, tests with third-party suppliers, and assessments.
  • Supplier Management: Monitor the work of our suppliers in your project.
  • Interface Management: Act as the main interface between the System and Mechanics teams in other BW locations and our electronics development team.
  • Risk Management: Monitor risks and main problems, ensuring that preventive and corrective actions are set and closed while collecting lessons learned and being aware of opportunities.
  • Change Management: Assess, agree, task allocate, and follow up on any change requests.
  • Reporting: Provide clear action plans and status reports with named responsibilities and deadlines for presentation to senior management, customers, department heads, and project team members alike.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related studies (Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, etc.).
  • Language Skills: Spanish: high-level proficient user, English: fluent in reading, writing, and speaking, German: highly valuable.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the Automotive industry (valuable).
  • Program Management Experience: Program management experience in the automotive or electronic industry with proven leadership skills.
  • Software Development Experience: Experience in software development or software project management.
  • Certifications: PMP certification, Agile training, trained and experienced in Automotive SPICE or CMMI, trained and experienced in ISO or Safety.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Project and Excel advanced user.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to influence others, set direction, and priorities.
