About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on practical (Power) Electronics Designer to join our dynamic team in Eindhoven.

This position is part of our Power Conversion business line, contributing to the development of cutting-edge power conversion technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing products, qualifying them in the lab, and engaging in hands-on work.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative power electronic products and technologies.

In this position, you will be working with a cutting-edge SiC based power converter that will play a crucial role in the energy transition towards "green" hydrogen, with the goal of storing renewable energy to make the supply and demand align in time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough qualification and testing of designs in the lab, ensuring compliance with specifications and performance standards.
  • Perform hands-on prototyping, debugging, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and systems.
  • Design and develop (power) electronic circuits and systems, focusing on practical applications and real-world performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital designers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of electronic products.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in power electronics, applying knowledge to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during the production phase.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in (power) electronics design, with a focus on practical, hands-on work.
