Senior Business Controller

As a Business Controller, you will work closely with the finance and business management teams to support key decisions by translating business topics into financials and challenging them. Your main areas of responsibility include being the finance SPOC and key person for your scope, helping the business to translate strategic decisions into financials. You will also prepare financial analyses and presentations independently, providing information to executive management. Additionally, you will understand the business model and market to challenge the business where needed, manage risks and opportunities together within your business based on financials and business discussions, own the budget, forecast, and long-term planning of your scope, and story-build actuals and challenge the financials in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year as well as historical trends. You will interact with local accounting and billing/invoicing teams, provide ad hoc analysis to support management with financial decisions, initiate and contribute to continuous improvement of processes, and participate in local and global initiatives, which may require occasional travel. To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance, or similar, and 5 years of relevant working experience within finance, with controlling experience being a must. You will also need to be pro-active with a critical mindset and a hands-on attitude, have strong communication and problem-solving skills, be able to plan effectively and comfortable taking critical decisions, have an affinity with both business and finance, have strong analytical and numerical skills, and be fluent in spoken and written English, with knowledge of French being a plus. You will also need to be an experienced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint, with knowledge of SAP4Hana and Power BI being a plus.
