AWS Scale Manager Role

At TD SYNNEX, we're seeking a highly skilled AWS Scale Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a critical role in driving business growth and strategic partnerships with AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement vendor partner recruitment strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Own the business plan and implementation process, leveraging vendor strengths and resources to achieve mutual success.
  • Communicate vendor strategies and benefits to local TD SYNNEX AWS organizations.
  • Align goals and objectives of AWS with TD SYNNEX to ensure mutual, positive results.
  • Develop, monitor, and recommend additional plans for AWS and TD SYNNEX on a tactical and strategic level.
  • Conduct required weekly, monthly, and quarterly governance reviews with both AWS centrally and local TD SYNNEX AWS teams.
  • Identify and drive new opportunities with particular emphasis on the development of new services that blend unique vendor resource/capability along with a TD SYNNEX service/capability to create a unique value proposition.
  • Drive cross-functional communication with TD SYNNEX's product groups in price negotiations and market knowledge.
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) for their assigned AWS Practice and programs.
  • Responsible for the management of activities and programs that will drive the AWS SCA pro-forma performance in an effort to achieve TD SYNNEX's financial goals.
  • Perform analysis and reports of various program impacts for AWS.
  • Manage forecasting pipeline requirements and rebate projections.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background or Cloud Business environment.
  • Desirable cloud experience/knowledge.
  • Strategic planning and business case development.
  • Good emotional intelligence.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Able to articulate, persuade, influence favorable business outcomes.
