About the Role

Crédit Agricole Sa is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainable Banking Professional to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Sustainable Banking team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and generating business opportunities, defining tailor-made solutions, and executing sustainable finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain quality relationships with business lines and clients' senior bankers to identify and generate business opportunities.
  • Develop and pitch Crédit Agricole CIB's sustainable finance product offering, and monitor its commercialization.
  • Structure and execute mandates originated, in partnership with concerned business lines.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with market stakeholders, including ESG rating agencies, investors, and other banking actors.
  • Stay up-to-date with the sustainable finance market and maintain Crédit Agricole CIB's position as a major actor in the market.
  • Establish efficient and trustworthy working relationships with Crédit Agricole's business lines and the Sustainable Banking team.
  • Prepare discussion materials, including commercial presentations, benchmarks, and analysis of projects eligible for green, social, or sustainability loans/bonds.
  • Contribute to the execution of advisory or the structuring of sustainable finance mandates, including drafting green/sustainability financing frameworks and monitoring the development of second-party opinions.
  • Participate in the analysis of main developments, including methodologies of ESG agencies, climate scenarios, and market trends.
Requirements
  • Be less than 28 years old.
  • Hold a Master's degree from a business school or university with a specialization in sustainability, banking, or finance.
  • Have a first experience in sustainable banking or in a corporate and investment bank.
  • possess strong interest in sustainable finance and/or environmental climate topics.
  • have excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • be fluent in French and English, and have a fluent or intermediate level in Spanish.
  • have the ability to communicate, analyze, and summarize.
  • possess rigor and a sense of organization.
  • have an apprehension of results and priorities.
