About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Discipline Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing calculation activities and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform finite element analysis using Altair Hyperworks software.
  • Analyse calculated deformations, stresses, and vibration modes.
  • Suggest design improvements for calculated parts.
  • Define gauges position for strain gauge test.
  • Prepare and document calculation discipline reports.
  • Perform correlation analysis with test results.
  • Prepare and document Mechanical Domain Design Reviews.
  • Update Calculation Notes according to Change Requests.
  • Comply with QCD commitments and report progress.
About You

  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Experience in railway products.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management and reporting skills.
  • Sense of urgency and priority.
  • Structured and organized approach.
  • English operational in read/write and technical meetings.
  • Finite Elements Analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of Altair Hyperworks software.
