Discipline Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Discipline Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing calculation activities and delivering high-quality results that meet our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform finite element analysis using Altair Hyperworks software to ensure structural integrity and stability of railway systems.
- Analyse calculated deformations, stresses, and vibration modes to identify potential issues and suggest design improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project mechanical decomposition and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
- Develop and maintain calculation discipline reports, calculation notes, and other documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve our engineering processes and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finite element analysis and structural integrity assessment.
- Proficiency in Altair Hyperworks software and experience with solver OptiStruct.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
