Discipline Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Discipline Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing discipline activities and delivering high-quality results on project.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Finite Element Analysis in Hyperworks software.
- Analyse calculated deformations, stresses, and vibration modes obtained.
- Suggest design improvements of calculated parts.
- Define gauges position for strain gauge test with full-scale parts.
- Prepare and document calculation discipline reports, calculation notes showing FEA conclusions, according to project schedule.
- Perform correlation analysis with test results.
- Prepare and document Mechanical Domain Design Reviews.
- Update Calculation Notes taking into account Change Requests.
- Comply with QCD commitments and report on calculation discipline activities progress.
- Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products.
- Good Communications and interpersonal skills.
- Time management and reporting skill.
- Sense of urgency/priority.
- Structured and organised with Hands-on approach.
- English operational in read/writing and technical meeting.
- Finite Elements Analysis proved experience.
- Knowledge and experience with Altair Hyperworks softwares.
