Join Alstom Gruppe as a Calculation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Calculation Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. As a Calculation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality calculation discipline activities and deliverables on projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform finite element analysis in Hyperworks software
  • Analyze calculated deformations, stresses, and vibration modes obtained
  • Suggest design improvements of calculated parts
  • Define gauges position for strain gauge test with full scale parts
  • Prepare and document calculation discipline reports, calculation notes showing FEA conclusions
  • Perform correlation analysis with test results
  • Prepare and document Mechanical Domain Design Reviews
  • Comply with QCD commitments and report on calculation discipline activities progress
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Experience in finite element analysis and simulation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
