About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team in a specific geographical area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Planning and Execution
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Manage and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Promotional Execution and Store Universe Coverage
  • Ensure that all promotional activities are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase store universe coverage and drive sales growth.
Field Tools and Data Management
  • Ensure that all field sales teams have access to relevant information and tools to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.
Team Management and Coaching
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Relationship Building and Communication
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and customers to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  1. 3 years' experience in FMCG sales and leadership roles.
  2. Valid driving license.
  3. Leadership, motivation, and team skills.
  4. Clear understanding of the market's sales & distribution, competitor activity as well as consumer behavior in FMCG context.
  5. A commitment to people management and development with a proven ability to build and develop talent.
  6. Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen to understand financial statements and market trends.
  7. Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) skills and experience with sales tools.
  8. Very high negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  9. Strong presentation skills.
