At Sin Nombre, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet guests, escorting them to their tables with a professional and positive attitude.
- Oversee the flow of guests within the restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Liaise between the floor, kitchen, and hosting teams to maintain a smooth service.
- Maintain the ambiance of the restaurant, including lighting and music.
- Proactively address guest queries and complaints, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Check and deal with special requests, such as birthdays and special occasions.
- Oversee table returns and seat the restaurant to maximize covers.
- Assist with training the reception team and liaise with the reservations team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Work in the reservations office from time to time, maintaining databases and supporting the Reservations team.
- Supervise the area around the reception desk and ensure first-class reporting and daily logs.
- Check waiters' notes and special requests, taking calls during service and attending pre-service meetings.
- Welcome and host guests, ensuring business cards are given to future regulars and VIP guests.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with additional languages a plus.
- Previous experience in the luxury industry, hotels, or gastronomic restaurants.
