Restaurant Manager

SLS Barcelona is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the pre-opening team and direct the operations of the Food & Beverage outlets within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation, ensuring seamless execution of the food & beverage concept.
  • Ensure service and other standards according to SOPs are adhered to, and cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Oversee staff training and carry out on-the-job training where required, ensuring the food & beverage team is continually trained in product and menu knowledge.
  • Contribute to the hiring process, conduct performance appraisals, and make personnel-related decisions.
  • Support the Head of Bars & Restaurants in various administrative tasks, including departmental reports and strategic planning.
Requirements:
  • Degree with emphasis in Hospitality/Restaurants management.
  • +3 years experience in hospitality within hotels/restaurants with high volume of food & beverage operations in a management role.
  • Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation, with a proven track record of living the company's values.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high level attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
