Restaurant Manager Job Description
At Hyatt Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the Food and Beverage experience at our Grand Hyatt Barcelona location. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional service and high-quality food and beverage experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement short and long-term plans for the outlet's operations, ensuring alignment with the hotel's overall strategy.
- Manage the outlet's budget, marketing plans, and objectives, and ensure that they are met within approved plans.
- Implement and maintain F&B sales and marketing programs to drive revenue growth and increase customer satisfaction.
- Direct and oversee the development of employees, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate food and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service.
- Resolve customer complaints and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
- Implement procedures to increase guest and associate satisfaction, and maintain Hyatt standards of service.
- Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of progressive hotel F&B experience, preferably with Hyatt.
- 2+ years in F&B Management roles.
- Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
- Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset.
- Must possess high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and effective communication skills.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
