Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electric Bus Sales Professional to promote the sales of electric bus fleets in Spain and Portugal. The successful candidate will develop and maintain high-level contacts with existing and potential customers, coordinating activities with supporting teams at our HQ and in the Netherlands related to regional tenders and orders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of the BYD team allocated to Iberia, including tender specialists and aftersales teams
• Generate and maintain contacts with cities interested in sourcing electric buses
• Provide cities with necessary information to design bus tenders using a consulting approach
• Lead the supporting team at the HQ and in Europe to prepare tender bids
• Ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets in the area of responsibility
Main Duties:
1. Develop a plan of cities to approach based on volume and repeatability criteria
2. Initiate and maintain contacts with city officials and bus operators
3. Define required specifications, delivery times, and costs with customers
4. Report pipeline status regularly
5. Ensure company sales targets and margin targets for the area
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with at least 5 years' experience in the automotive field, preferably in bus sales. A business-related bachelor's degree is essential. Excellent English and Spanish language skills are required, as well as proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Certifications in value-added selling and high-level negotiation are desirable.
Salary Estimate:
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around €80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
