Role Overview

The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for directly selling to and managing relationships with enterprise accounts of 1001+ users. This role will focus on generating and pursuing leads, implementing strategic customer engagement plans, and achieving sales quotas. The successful candidate will cover the North of Spain and manage mid-market accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to generate enterprise account sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline from current and net new customers.
  • Manage the sales process through closure of the sale, continued development, and retention of enterprise accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales Engineering, MDR, and Customer Success, to deliver winning contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work.
  • Work with the Channel Sales team and partner community to create pipeline through indirect engagements.
  • Negotiate terms of business with customers to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement, and high adoption of Sophos technology.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in proposing technical products and services in the ICT field, with a strong background in direct sales and a proven track record in developing new clients, particularly in mid and large enterprise customers.
  • Ability to partner with channel networks to approach new business opportunities and negotiate terms of business with customers.
  • Knowledge of complex sales processes and methodologies, including multiple level selling to senior decision makers in major accounts.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to exceed targets and KPIs, and excellent communication, negotiation, and objection handling skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with a strong understanding of CRM tools and Salesforce knowledge preferred.
