Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and align financial strategies with the company's overall goals.
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and regular reporting for compliance and investor relations.
  • Analyze key financial metrics to inform strategy and forecast financial outcomes based on current trends and strategic initiatives.
  • Build, train, and lead the finance team, optimizing staffing and performance.
  • Oversee cash flow, funding, and day-to-day financial operations, including payrolls and procurement.
  • Implement and refine financial systems and processes for improved efficiency.
  • Coordinate with investors and financial institutions, participate in fundraising and strategic investor discussions.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, managing the company's risk profile.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Leadership skills to manage both senior financial strategists and operational finance staff.
  • Excellent communication skills for both internal team management and external investor relations.
  • Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Significant experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
