About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert Lead to join our Strategic Sourcing and Workforce team at ING Bank N.V.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Strategic Sourcing and Workforce team, ensuring effective leadership and guidance.
  • Develop and implement a holistic Tech Workforce Strategy, defining staffing levels and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR, CTO, Finance, and Procurement to link workforce strategy with execution and follow-up.
  • Analyze technological needs and ensure they are met by global suppliers and third parties, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Oversee and escalate dependencies with global projects and key external capabilities.
  • Maintain financial control and budget supervision for all sourcing activities, focusing on key outsourced technical services and intercompany transactions.

Requirements:

  • Strong management and leadership skills, including process management, communication, influence, strategic thinking, and planning.
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to analyze data and developments, and translate them into possible actions or mitigating measures.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, able to develop a vision, taking into account diverse stakeholders' interests, and translate complex matters into an easy-to-follow storyline.
  • Strong connectivity and collaboration skills, accustomed to working with multiple expertise and having a wide vision.
