About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert Lead to join our Strategic Sourcing and Workforce team at ING Bank N.V. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of professionals in defining and implementing a holistic approach to our tech workforce and strategic sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Strategic Sourcing and Workforce team in ensuring ING has control over all its tech activities.
- Define a comprehensive tech workforce strategy, determining the optimal staffing levels and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between HR, CTO, Finance, and Procurement to link workforce strategy definition with execution and follow-up.
- Analyze technological needs and ensure they are satisfied by both global suppliers and third parties, meeting high-quality standards.
- Oversee and escalate dependencies with global projects and/or key external capabilities.
- Maintain financial control and budget supervision for all sourcing activities, with a focus on key outsourced technical services and intercompany.
Requirements
- Strong management and leadership skills, including process management, communication, ability to influence, strategic thinking, and planning.
- Strong analytical skills, able to analyze data and developments and translate them into possible actions or mitigating measures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to develop a vision and translate complex matters into an easy-to-follow storyline.
- Ability to work with multiple expertise and have a wide vision.
