About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our recruitment team, you'll be responsible for attracting and hiring top talent to drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and role requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, from initial screening to offer stage, to deliver a diverse range of candidates.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience, continually seeking ways to improve this across the team.
  • Source, attract, and recruit the best candidates for our roles.
  • Interview candidates, providing a unique perspective and insight for hiring managers to ensure we hire the best people for the role and our company culture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the UK and our Head of Talent in London.

Requirements:

  • You'll need to be an expert in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of attracting top talent.
  • You'll love working with diverse teams and individuals, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and growth.
  • You'll be someone who not only finds solutions but creates value by asking thoughtful questions and seeking feedback.
  • You'll focus on delivering high-quality results, obsessively striving to improve processes and outcomes.
  • You'll have previous experience hiring in a fast-paced business, with a strong understanding of screening and assessing candidates for both hard skills and cultural fit.
  • You'll be fluent in Spanish and English at a business level, with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates and stakeholders.
