Construction Program Manager, Strategic Business Development Lead

Job Summary

Empresa reconocida is seeking a highly skilled Construction Program Manager, Strategic Business Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing program-level initiatives from development to embedment, aligning with internal and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project manage program-level initiatives from development to embedment, aligning with internal and cross-functional stakeholders.
  2. Facilitate and develop key performance indicators and dashboards, across all pillars, in alignment with our mission and initiatives and in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  3. Manage the development and use of a Project Charter to align the expectations of project stakeholders.
  4. Utilize tools such as RACI charts and process flow charts to communicate clear ownership and responsibilities.
  5. Develop key process metrics, gather and analyze data to identify and organize process improvement opportunities.
  6. Establish KPIs and associated scorecards to monitor improvement.
  7. Facilitate regular strategic planning follow-ups for collaboration and accountability.
  8. Monitor the effectiveness of strategic planning, alignment, and optimization efforts. Champion and support course correction efforts when required.
  9. Drive the consistent use of processes across teams and locations.
  10. Facilitate and participate in the planning and development of strategies for large Strategic Events & Summits and Vendor Business Reviews.
  11. Review programmatic data and surveys, identifying key strategic insights.
  12. Coordinate key stakeholders to support a standardized review process and outcome.
  13. Facilitate in-person vendor reviews between our organization and critically strategic vendors.
  14. 25% travel to construction sites is required (domestic & international locations).

Requirements

  1. Organization, communication, and presentation experience.
  2. Experience with various scheduling methodologies - critical path, Gantt charts, resource planning.
  3. Experience providing alternate solutions or bringing new solutions from different industries.
  4. Bachelor's in Construction Management or equivalent degree.
  5. Experience with construction management processes and systems in the areas of scheduling, budgeting, quality control, safety, cost forecasting, change management, and pre-construction.
  6. Experience with the various stages of a capital development program - design through construction.
  7. 10+ years of experience in the construction industry. Mission-critical data center experience would be a positive.
  8. Experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Masters Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or BMS Controls.
