Business Development Manager, Gaming Sector Expansion

Located in Barcelona, Wroclaw or Warsaw, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion into the gaming sector. This pivotal role involves driving revenue growth and enhancing our commercial presence through strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.
About the RoleWe foster a dynamic and collaborative environment where every team member plays a crucial part in our success. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our footprint in the gaming industry.
- Conducting thorough market research to identify target advertisers and establish key industry trends.
- Defining target market segments and developing tailored acquisition plans to set revenue goals and monitor progress.
- Closing deals and managing client relationships by negotiating contracts with new and existing advertisers, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and tracking client performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and sales, to align strategies and provide input on new product features and enhancements.
In addition, you will participate in new product development, identifying market opportunities and developing new products or services that meet industry needs. You will also stay abreast of industry trends and best practices by attending conferences, conducting competitive analysis, and staying informed about emerging technologies.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or a similar role in the gaming industry, preferably related to gaming advertising.
- An existing solid network and connections within the gaming industry.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets and driving growth through strategic partnerships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Extensive expertise and experience within the gaming advertising field.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
At Opera Göteborg, we offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
