PUMA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to join our Central Services team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues.
- Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Requirements:
- Associate degree, Trade School or equivalent with at least 2 years' experience in general maintenance and mailroom functions.
- Basic knowledge of building operations, regulations, and construction trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire/Life Safety etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suites.
- Experience in shipping and receiving.
- Must be onsite daily (Monday – Friday 7am – 3 pm).
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. required.
