At Joivy, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the company.

The Maintenance Specialist will conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Key tasks include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as implementing safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the proper execution of daily tasks and provide reports to supervisors.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of tools.
  • Conduct a monthly inventory of materials and provide reports to the supervisor.
  • Communicate every expense in detail and deliver records to finance.
  • Report to the operations specialist and coordinate daily interventions and tasks.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in apartments, as well as experience in coordinating daily interventions and tasks with the operations team. Additionally, they will have strong organizational skills to manage tasks, inventory, and reports efficiently, and a high attention to detail to ensure all maintenance tasks are performed correctly and thoroughly.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in apartments.
  • Ability to ensure proper maintenance and handling of tools.
  • Skills in conducting monthly inventory of materials and reporting accurately.
  • Capability to communicate detailed expenses and deliver records to finance.
  • Experience (up to 5 years) in coordinating daily interventions and tasks with the operations team.
  • Knowledge and execution of preventive maintenance practices every six months.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Great English and Spanish fluency (B2-C1 level both written and spoken).
  • Being already in possession of a permit to work in Spain or the EU.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Effective communication with the operations specialist and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage tasks, inventory, and reports efficiently.
  • High attention to detail to ensure all maintenance tasks are performed correctly and thoroughly.
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Flexibility to handle a variety of maintenance tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ideally, possession of a van and necessary tools for maintenance tasks.
  • Special qualifications and licenses would be considered an advantage.
