About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Joivy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular inspections to identify and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure all properties are in the best possible condition and problems are resolved quickly.
  • Perform preventive maintenance in all apartments every six months.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in apartments.
  • Ability to ensure proper maintenance and handling of tools.
  • Skills in conducting monthly inventory of materials and reporting accurately.
  • Capability to communicate detailed expenses and deliver records to finance.
  • Experience (up to 5 years) in coordinating daily interventions and tasks with the operations team.
  • Knowledge and execution of preventive maintenance practices every six months.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Great English and Spanish fluency (B2-C1 level both written and spoken)
  • Being already in possession of a permit to work in Spain or the EU
