Key Responsibilities- Clerical Support: Provide administrative assistance to the plant engineering department, including data entry, time sheet management, and tracking of machinery uptime and downtime.
- Capital and Repair Management: Track weekly capital and major repair spending, and assist with the yearend process by closing work orders from the previous fiscal year and creating new work orders for the upcoming year.
- Inventory Management: Backup to the purchaser for spare parts and office supplies, and assist with cycle count inventory in the parts room.
- Reporting and Compliance: Track PM compliance and report weekly, and backup to the planner for notifications and PM schedules.
- Equipment Maintenance: Update work order process in SAP Computer Maintenance System (CMS), maintain equipment in SAP, and post mechanic's time in SAP and reconcile against payroll.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and running mechanical downtime and uptime reports.
- Special Projects: Complete special projects and other duties as assigned, and provide support for the Maintenance Reliability initiative.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: One year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Two years post-high school with emphasis in business/accounting, plus 2-3 years' experience in a professional business environment.
- Skills: Personal computer experience with SAP, Cadd, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Projects; basic understanding of storeroom inventory and cycle count criteria; attention to detail, prioritizing tasks, and organization skills.
