**Job Title:** Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations to join our team at Securecell AG. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations and supply chain management.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the entire manufacturing process to ensure production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals and industry standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to facilitate the transfer of new products from development to production.
  • Implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory costs.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of manufacturing and supply chain professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align manufacturing and supply chain strategies with overall business goals.
  • Support production, troubleshooting in daily production, and investigate and resolve production issues related to process deviations or equipment malfunctions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Train production staff on new processes, tools, and techniques to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Create or improve existing SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures).
  • Prepare detailed process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and technical reports.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of process improvements.
  • Analyze production data and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

**Requirements:**

  • A Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or Supply Chain Management or related field (ETH/FH or comparable form of education).
  • Experience in manufacturing.
  • Customer- and service-oriented mindset.
  • Good negotiating and strong communication skills in English and German.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable function.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Knowledge of Odoo ERP system.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for bioprocess manufacturing (e.g., GMP, ISO).
