About the Role
Feverup is a leading global live-entertainment discovery tech platform, and we're seeking an intellectually curious and eager-to-learn Junior Counsel to support our French-speaking countries in Europe. As a key member of our Legal team, you will provide day-to-day legal support to the region, advising on corporate and operationally relevant matters to drive the growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn about legislation and jurisdictions in French-speaking countries for matters entrusted to you
- Draft and revise key commercial contracts, terms and conditions, and similar legal documents
- Provide support to business teams in their negotiations of deals and contracts you are involved in
- Advise on general legal matters related to the French-speaking market and our product fit and compliance within them
- Assist the dispute resolution team in matters in the French-speaking market, to help them achieve practical, win-win results
- Advice on engagement of, and coordinate and prioritize work of external legal advisors
- Assist and participate in knowledge management, including preparing /revising internal templates, guides, and similar documents
- Participate in ongoing compliance functions and product advice as required
- Prioritize your and others' work
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a barred/practicing lawyer, with 2+ years of PQE in the legal field (corporate or law firm)
- Have academic legal training in a French jurisdiction, and +2 PQE working with the region
- Native French speaker, with a command of legal English (fluency in another language is a plus)
- Have an excellent academic record and/or experience in top-notch companies or top-tier law firms
- Have a keen eye for strategy and business, and be committed to company goals
- Possess strong technical skills
- Be an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work
