Job Description

Job Title: Junior Legal Counsel - Commercial and Privacy

Location: Barcelona or Madrid office (hybrid role)

About the Role:

We're seeking a junior legal counsel to provide legal support to our global business and advise on privacy issues, commercial contracts, and corporate governance matters.

As a junior legal counsel, you will have the opportunity to develop expertise in the fast-evolving field of advertising technology, data privacy, commercial contracts, intellectual property, and corporate governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise on matters related to data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other global regulations.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing privacy policies, terms of service, and data processing agreements.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and support the implementation of privacy by design and default principles.
  • Monitor regulatory developments in privacy law and update internal stakeholders on compliance requirements.
  • Provide legal support for contract management and ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and partnership agreements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract templates and guidelines.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, including board minutes, resolutions, and other governance documents.

Requirements:

We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in commercial and privacy law. You should have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
