We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Application Specialist to join our team in Spain. Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing organizations to promote products and provide in-field pre-sales technical support to Sales Representatives.
- Provide post-sales support to customers, including onsite instrument and product training, validation support, optimization/adaptation of products to customers' needs, on-going technical support, and customer care.
- Participate in Clinical Sessions with Pathologists reviewing slides on demonstrations or for technical troubleshooting.
- Report results of actions to sales team and CAS Manager.
- Drive seminars and special training for customers.
- Help build customer relationships and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assess competitor activity while on customer sites and report back to Sales Management Team.
- Collaborate and support the Customer Technical Support Team/Remote Service Engineer (RSE) (ESP Diagnostics Technical Hotline).
- Provide specialist support for major trade exhibitions and scientific meetings.
- Provide specialist training and support for the Sales team as and when required.
- Attend internal meetings and product training.
- Report time for onsite visits and administrative tasks.
- Assist with preparation/translation for user guides and instrumentation manuals where needed.
- BSc in Life sciences, Biomedical science, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or similar.
- Medical Laboratory Technologist – Histopathology or similar.
- Highly experienced within pathology workflow, H&E staining, special stains, Immunohistochemistry, and ISH.
- Good guiding experience and ability to mentor.
- IT knowledge.
- High degree of business understanding and customer focus.
- Flexible and results-oriented.
- Structured and quality-minded.
- Highly partnership and team success-focused.
- Good English capability.
- A current Full Spanish Driving License is needed.
- Previous experience in an Applications/Technical role in a scientific subject area is desirable but not crucial.
