Job Summary

The Senior Procurement Analyst role is part of Kennametal's global transformation team, responsible for utilizing, configuring, implementing, maintaining, and customizing systems that store and process procurement data in support of procurement and sourcing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the administration of Global Sourcing tools such as SAP ERP and requisition tools.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities within the sourcing tools and processes.
  • Manage and update global sourcing policies and procedures.
  • Implement and ensure alignment of sourcing processes and procedures.
  • Act as the liaison between other business functions, identifying key stakeholders and ensuring sourcing alignment is facilitated among process owners.
  • Standardize the supplier evaluation process and establish standardized reporting.
  • Monitor sourcing processes and provide actionable reports based on progress and achievement of business objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to Sourcing team members and stakeholders, and provide end-user support as required.
  • Manage Procurement Help Desk, assigning tickets to appropriate persons and addressing Sourcing and Stakeholder issues.
  • Enable effective change management practices.
  • Coordinate with sourcing and analytical teams to improve procurement efficiency.
  • Support other strategic initiatives and projects as required by the business.
  • Coordinate master data activities.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and sourcing, with experience in implementing and managing global sourcing tools and processes. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
