Key Responsibilities- Procurement Planning: Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with business unit production schedules and new product launches, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure materials are made to specifications, negotiate pricing and delivery, and lead cross-functional teams to resolve obstacles to meeting schedules.
- Inventory Management: Establish and maintain inventory health targets, develop action plans to optimize inventory, and provide spend analysis and insights to drive operational improvement and cost savings.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal departments and suppliers to analyze pricing and department needs, make recommendations, and implement agreed-upon solutions for cost reduction, efficiencies, and process improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent previous related experience.
- Experience in purchasing and/or production control required.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE) preferred.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry preferred.
