**Key Responsibilities:**
- Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and contractors for engineering-related goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best possible deals.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand for engineering materials and supplies.
- Ensure timely replenishment of stock to avoid shortages and downtime.
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to track and manage supplies efficiently.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Prepare and submit reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the engineering department's budget.
- Monitor and control procurement expenditures to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the engineering team to understand their requirements and provide timely support.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
**Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
