Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team at British Airways. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for providing effective technical leadership and supervision of maintenance colleagues to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise maintenance activities, setting clear targets and expectations to deliver departmental objectives.
  • Develop and motivate a team to its full potential, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Provide oversight and certification of individual and team maintenance activities, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure effective communication and escalation of issues that require additional attention.
  • Remain qualified and authorized for required aircraft types, vehicles, and equipment applicable to the area.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to quality, health, safety, and environment regulations.
  • Hold a BX stamp and carry out the requirements of a BX stamp holder.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement in a production environment.
  • Support the development of a high-performing team and culture, in line with the company values.
  • Further own knowledge and skills base with training and experience.
