Job Title: Licensed Aircraft Engineer - MADRID

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and supervision to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise maintenance activities, setting clear targets and expectations to deliver departmental goals.
  • Develop and motivate a team to its full potential, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Provide oversight and certification of individual and team maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety, company procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure effective communication and escalation of issues that require additional attention.
  • Maintain qualification and authorisation for required aircraft types, vehicles, and equipment applicable to the area.
  • Adhere to quality, health, safety, and environment regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement in a production environment.
  • Complete IT and documentary transactions as required.
  • Support the development of a high-performing team and culture, in line with company values.

Requirements:

  • CAA Part-66 Category B license or NCAA license.
  • Unrestricted B1 (plus B2 optional).
  • Valid full Nigerian driving license (or equivalent) (desirable).
  • Ability to hold an airport restricted zone.
  • Ability to hold an airside driving permit.
