Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

The Role:As a Technical Lead in Madrid, you'll provide effective technical leadership to maintenance colleagues and supervise maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements. You'll work collaboratively with local management, control centers, quality, planning, and technical departments to achieve quality and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise maintenance activities, setting clear targets and expectations to deliver departmental goals.
- Develop and motivate a team to its full potential, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Provide oversight and certification of individual and team maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety, company procedures, regulatory, and airmanship standards.
- Ensure effective communication and escalation of issues that require additional attention.
- Maintain qualification and authorization for required aircraft types, vehicles, and equipment applicable to the area.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to quality, health, safety, and environment regulations.
- Hold a BX stamp and carry out the requirements of a BX stamp holder.
- Create a culture of continuous improvement in a production environment.
- Complete IT and documentary transactions as required.
- Support the development of a high-performing team and culture, in line with the company values.
- Excellent technical decision-making skills.
- Information gathering, interpretation, and decision-making abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to act independently.
- Ability to interpret technical publications to make fact-based decisions.
- Strong situational awareness and solution identification skills.
