Aircraft Maintenance Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Aircraft Maintenance Director to lead our clients Aircraft Engineering section.
This role is integral to ensuring the continuing airworthiness of our fleet and involves the management of staff, equipment, and resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and Manage the Aircraft Engineering Section: Ensure the Aircraft Engineering section meets all airworthiness requirements, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Maintain Facilities and Equipment: Ensure maintenance facilities and equipment meet required standards, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Supervise and Monitor Workmanship: Supervise and monitor standards of workmanship to ensure compliance with regulations, maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Plan and Coordinate Maintenance: Plan and coordinate all contracted maintenance to ensure aircraft availability, minimizing downtime and optimizing resource allocation.
- Manage Maintenance Programs: Manage and improve maintenance programs for cost-effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Oversee Training and Development: Oversee on-the-job training for maintenance staff to ensure continuous improvement, enhancing skills and knowledge.
- Develop and Control Safety Management Systems: Develop and control the company's Safety Management System, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Accurate Production Planning: Ensure accurate and timely production planning to minimize costly downtime, optimizing resource allocation and efficiency.
- Minimum of 10 Years' Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in an aircraft maintenance environment, with 5 years at a senior management level.
- Extensive Knowledge of Safety Management Systems: Extensive knowledge of Safety Management Systems, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Strong Leadership and Organizational Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize work streams and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent Technical Judgment and Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent technical judgment and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Proficient in Maintenance Software and Microsoft Office Programs: Proficient in maintenance software and Microsoft Office programs, with the ability to effectively utilize technology to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Valid B1.2 Maintenance Licence: Valid B1.2 Maintenance Licence, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
