Health and Safety Manager

Ryanair is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join its team of professionals in Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and France. As a key member of the company's engineering team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe maintenance of a fleet of over 450 aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Occupational Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of occupational risks and develop effective control measures to mitigate them.
- Business Operations Coordination: Collaborate with supervisors and management to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and company policies.
- Health Surveillance Management: Oversee health surveillance activities, including the management of employee health records and the implementation of health-related policies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Promote the application of current regulations on occupational risk prevention, ensuring compliance and dissemination throughout the organization.
- Occupational Risk Prevention Plan: Develop and implement the company's occupational risk prevention plan, ensuring its effective execution and monitoring.
- Training and Development: Manage training courses to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into accidents and near-miss incidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Equipment Management: Manage the company's equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure its proper use and maintenance.
- Collaboration with Regulatory Bodies: Collaborate with health and safety-related labor inspections, providing expert advice and support as required.
- Legislative Updates: Stay up-to-date with changes in current legislation and notify management of any relevant new regulations.
- Health and Safety Qualifications: Possess a strong foundation in health and safety principles, with a focus on occupational risk prevention.
- Specialized Knowledge: Possess advanced knowledge of emergency and evacuation plans, personal protective equipment, and health and safety legislation.
- Language Skills: Possess a high level of proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience: Possess at least one year of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of implementing effective health and safety strategies.
