We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Importante empresa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative, financial, and operating aspects of our Engineering division.

About the Role

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for supervising and training all Engineering staff in customer service, empowerment, and standard operating procedures. This includes creating and adhering to the annual budget and CAPEX for the department, as well as developing and implementing plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds, and other assets in an acceptable state of repair.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and train Engineering staff in customer service, empowerment, and standard operating procedures.
  2. Develop and implement plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds, and other assets in an acceptable state of repair.
  3. Ensure compliance with all local and federal laws and regulations.
  4. Administer all vendor contracts controlled by the Engineering department.
  5. Implement Wyndham policies, standards, and procedures for Fire & Life Safety programs and Physical security programs.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or related studies.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as Chief Engineer within a similarly sized branded hotel.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams.
  • Intermediate - advanced level knowledge of Excel, Word, and AutoCAD required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in Spanish. Fluency in English will be considered.
