About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Baker to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality bakery goods, crafting a range of breads, rolls, and pastries, and continuously developing and innovating our product range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce bakery goods of the highest quality and standard, using authentic methods and techniques, shaping by hand, and always one step ahead of industry trends.
  • Craft a range of breads, rolls, baguettes, bun dough, scones, laminate dough, pastry, and cakes with creativity and flair, developing delicious combinations of taste and texture.
  • Continuously develop and innovate the product range, working with our Head Baker on ideas and techniques that make our kitchen a creative, ever-changing environment.
  • Ensure our operation runs smoothly, our service preparation is efficient, and our food hygiene standards are exceptional.
  • Work to tight deadlines, demonstrating a positive attitude and approach.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as part of a similar-sized kitchen team.
  • Passion for food is a given, a love for our particular flavors a definite advantage.
