Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team at Bunge. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for executing our integrated corporate communications program, including internal and external channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling written and visual content to communicate corporate strategy, values, activities, and business-related news to internal and external audiences.
- Drive content editorial calendar and monitor key communication tools and channels across Europe and Asia.
- Build relationships with Bunge's business units and functions, as well as with the internal communicator network, to facilitate message alignment across countries and the company.
- Create and maintain materials to assist local managers in their community and industry affairs efforts and promote their contributions to appropriate channels.
- Use analytics to monitor key communications channels to identify risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years' work experience in communications, with prior experience in corporate communications or an agency environment strongly preferred.
- Experience in agriculture or food-related industry preferred.
- English native speaker preferred, with the ability to speak other languages a plus.
- Proven excellent written communications skills, with proven reporting and storytelling ability required in English.
- Proven experience in developing content for media outlets, responding to media inquiries, and developing proactive pitches to key media.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with web and intranet content management systems, with the ability to take photos, do basic photo editing, and record video for editorial purposes.
- Attention to detail, along with a creative mindset and innovative approach.
- Ability to think strategically and communicate in an attractive way, crafting visual and engaging content that resonates with different target audiences and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to problem solve, meet deadlines, and maintain quality.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in teams.
