Job Overview
Reporting to the Area Manager, this position is accountable for the efficient and profitable management of sales and business operations within designated territories and client accounts. The primary objective is to drive continuous sales growth while achieving specific profitability targets by promoting the complete range of products and services tailored to the designated customer sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate expertise to ensure sustained sales growth and meet profitability goals by offering the entire product range to the specified customer sectors.
- Collaborate with the local service team to establish, agree upon, and execute service activities for all clients within the territory.
- Adhere to safety protocols while pursuing company objectives.
- Ensure that the profitability of each client account aligns with the established profitability strategy, typically based on the Standard Margin meeting the required benchmarks.
- Provide regular updates on progress to the Area Managers within agreed timelines.
- Maintain a profitable retention of the designated customer territory in accordance with defined profit targets.
- Develop and manage a growth and sales strategy, including an in-territory opportunities pipeline, to achieve specified sales growth and profitability objectives.
- Sales growth and profitability targets will be assigned based on the sales strategy.
- Strategize and implement a pricing adjustment plan across the customer territory, coordinating with National Account and Corporate Account Managers as necessary.
- Deliver sales forecasts, sales upgrades, and other specified data to the Area Manager within established timelines.
- Foster customer relationship initiatives.
- Implement the company’s Legionella policy for clients with systems classified as “At Risk” under existing EHS policies.
- Ensure compliance with all site and EHS policies at customer locations.
- Uphold the Ethics Charter and relevant policies while developing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Organize and participate in customer review meetings.
- Develop and execute Value Generation Plans at client sites.
- Collaborate with the Field Sales Development Team, Engineering Sales Team, or Corporate Account Managers for any internal customer sales opportunities requiring specialized sales support.
- Create a coordinated transition plan with the Field Sales Development Team, Chemfeed Team, or Corporate Account Managers to integrate new business into the customer territory.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience in Account Management or sales within a water treatment company or industrial facility.
- Valid driving license is required.
