The program is built on five foundational pillars for the training and development of its participants:
- Scientific, technical, and soft skills training.
- Field experiences with Medical Science Liaisons, Key Account Managers, and/or sales teams.
- Continuous support from Human Resources and mentors.
- Bi-monthly virtual coffee sessions with Biogen's Executive Committee members and key personnel.
- Two projects designed to challenge and apply the skills and knowledge gained during the program.
Position Summary:
The Customer and Market Insights Intern will be integrated into the CE&O department, collaborating closely with the CMI Senior Manager to generate strategic insights regarding the Iberia cluster, focusing on performance and market dynamics through primary and secondary market research, alongside internal and external quantitative data sources and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting & Analytics:
- Assisting in the development of monthly forecasts, contributing insights into scenarios, assumptions, and significant market events.
- Utilizing analytical skills to support the insight generation process, integrating diverse qualitative and quantitative data.
- Applying analytical expertise to align and support the organization during business reviews and management meetings.
- Assisting the CMI team in optimizing processes and automating analytical tools and models.
Business Performance Evaluation:
- Supporting Brand Leads by providing a comprehensive understanding of market and brand performance.
- Contributing to the creation and automation of performance reports that track performance against targets and KPIs.
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence:
- Coordinating assigned market research tasks within the CMI team and identifying gaps to enhance understanding among key stakeholders.
- Gathering and synthesizing competitive intelligence to deepen market insights.
Qualifications:
- Final year of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or Business Analytics.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
- Possess an analytical, pragmatic, and logical mindset.
- Demonstrate an innovative approach.
- Ability to create concise summaries and present strong recommendations.
- Client-oriented with responsiveness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including listening and communication.
- Exhibit autonomy and organizational capabilities.
Additional Information:
- Functional area: Customer & Market Insights department.
- Internship duration: 12 months.
- Working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM from Monday to Thursday (with a one-hour lunch break) and 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Fridays.
- Internship compensation: 800€ gross/month.
- Meal voucher: 200€/month (excluding August).
