The program is structured around five key pillars for the training and development of its participants:
Scientific, technical, and soft skills training. Field experiences with Medical Science Liaisons, Key Account Managers, and/or sales teams. Ongoing support from Human Resources and mentors. Bi-monthly virtual meetings with members of Biogen's Executive Committee and prominent employees. Two projects designed to test all skills and knowledge acquired during the training at Biogen.Position Summary:
The CMI Intern will be part of the CE&O department, collaborating closely with the CMI Senior Manager to generate strategic insights on the Iberia cluster, focusing on performance and market dynamics monitoring through primary and secondary market research, as well as internal and external quantitative data sources and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting & Analytics:
Assisting in the creation of monthly forecasts, contributing insights into scenarios, assumptions, and significant market events. Utilizing analytical skills to support the insight generation process, integrating various qualitative and quantitative data sources. Applying analytical expertise to align and support the organization during business reviews, annual planning, and management meetings. Aiding the CMI team in optimizing processes and automating analytical tools and models.Business Performance Evaluation:
Supporting Brand Leads with a comprehensive understanding of market and brand performance. Assisting in the development and automation of performance reports to track performance against targets and KPIs.Market Research & Competitive Intelligence:
Coordinating assigned market research within the CMI team and identifying gaps and needs to enhance understanding among key stakeholders. Identifying and compiling competitive intelligence to deepen market understanding.Qualifications:
Final year of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or Business Analytics. Proficient in Excel. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Familiarity with Power BI is a plus. Possesses an analytical, pragmatic, and logical mindset. Innovative thinker. Ability to create clear summaries and defend strong recommendations. Client-oriented with responsiveness, flexibility, and adaptability. Strong interpersonal skills, including listening and communication. Demonstrates autonomy and organizational skills.Additional Information:
Important Details:
Functional area: Customer & Market Insights department. Duration of the internship: 12 months. Work schedule: Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (with a one-hour lunch break) and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Internship stipend: 800€ gross/month.
