About the Role
The Senior Customer Insights Researcher will be part of a core Research Team that helps the organisation make informed decisions by identifying new market opportunities, evaluating products' market position against their competitors, and finding the most effective methods to market products.
As the Senior Customer Insights Researcher, you will be either primarily responsible for collecting, analysing and presenting quantitative and qualitative research or acting as a consultant to guide the research process, from planning to delivering insights. You will also participate in identifying new market opportunities, to diversify Adaptavist's product portfolio and customer base segmentation to aid messaging and pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with product teams and gather requirements, what research they think needs to be done vs what is actually needed
- Define business problems and develop research plans to address them
- Plan and execute research activities such as market potential assessments, messaging effectiveness studies, customer segmentation, pricing studies, or demand experiments
- Use a variety of research methods such as surveys, user interviews or focus groups, among others
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights
- Recruit participants for research activities and conduct workshops with stakeholders
- Present findings to stakeholders and promote research maturity through individual and collective engagements
Requirements
- Substantial experience conducting marketing and customer insights research, including pricing, customer segmentation and market feasibility studies
- Experience with market entry reports, calculating total addressable market and market segmentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take and give feedback and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Tech savvy and proficient in using various research tools and software
- Fluent in English - verbal and written
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of statistical methods and packages
- Experience working in a fast-paced tech environment
- Experience with SAAS products and coding or scripting
